We believe that the Arts benefit a child's development immeasurably

Wasatch Arts Center is a professional school of dance and music providing an environment rich in artistic expression and talent. We have provided quality education in both dance and music for the past decade. We emphasize the importance of learning proper technique in a wholesome, family friendly atmosphere without the pressures of competitions or immodest dress or movement. Each child excels through learning and growing in the performing arts. Give your child the opportunity to grow in our nurturing and wholesome environment!

  • "The director and dance teachers at Wasatch Arts Center are professional, knowledgeable and concerned about training students correctly."
    Amy, West Jordan
  • "I am very impressed with how much my two daughters have learned in a short amount of time. My girls have danced at a few other studios, and WAC is by far their favorite. "
    Nikole, Riverton
  • "I trust Wasatch Arts! I appreciate their dedication to providing my daughter quality dance instruction, in an uplifting and positive dance environment. Their studio is welcoming and feels like a family."
    Jodi, Riverton
  • "We appreciate the modest costumes, professional staff, and recitals that are on par with any top ballet company.  We are especially pleased that Wasatch Arts Center does not encourage competition among dancers, but allows each child, regardless of skill level, to flourish."
    The Dale Family, Draper

The joy of dance

We believe all can experience the joy of dance and the benefits of disciplining the mind and body that this art form requires. Our primary mission is for the development of our dancer’s technique and to provide a positive atmosphere which builds self-esteem and the love of this cherished art form.

With Family Values at our core, dancers are free to enjoy dance without inappropriate costumes, movement or music. We believe that performances, rather than competitions, provide the best benefit for young dancers. Stage experience is available at our December Showcase and Year-end June Recital, enabling them to develop confidence, poise and stage manners. View our FAQ here.

The benefits of Music Study

Music provides much more than aesthetic benefits. Many studies have demonstrated a link between active music making and increased academic success. One of the best ways to benefit from music is through private lessons. as they help teach your student the proper theory and technique in their chosen instrument. We believe that finding the right teacher can make all the difference with your student's progress. We offer private instruction in violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, and tuba. All lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes long and are available for students ranging in ability from beginning to late intermediate. Our starting ages vary between instruments.
